GEORGE TOWN: Several pornographic pictures were found in 11 copies of the Surah Yassin booklet at the Penang State Mosque here.

The chief imam of the mosque, Yusuff Ahmad, said the discovery was made by a
security guard at the mosque who had picked up one of the booklet to read it at
about 4.30pm yesterday.

He said that after being informed by the guard, a few mosque officials,
including him, went to check the shelves where the Surah Yassin booklets were

kept and found 10 others to contain such pictures.

Following which, a police report was lodged at the Kampung Baru police

station, Air Hitam here, yesterday, he added. - Bernama
